anything.
Type your question the way you'd ask it at the front desk. Answers come from the CREW Library, the same material our doctors use.

Your first visit
What happens at a new patient appointment?
A full health history, a conversation about what's bothering you and what you want to get back to, then a digital posture scan, a digital nerve scan, and digital x-rays if your doctor thinks they're warranted. Plan on 30 to 45 minutes.
Will I get adjusted on the first visit?
Usually, when it's safe and appropriate. Your doctor will tell you in the room. Some findings call for imaging first, and we'd rather be right than fast.
What's the second visit for?
Your report of findings. The doctor shows you your scans, explains what they mean, and lays out a plan with a clear end point. Bring your questions. This visit exists for them.
What should I bring?
- Your insurance card, if you'd like us to check coverage
- Any recent imaging or reports you have
- Clothes you can move in
Do I need x-rays?
Not always. We take them when the exam says we should, and we explain why before we do. Digital x-rays are done in the office, so there's no separate trip.
How long are appointments after the first one?
Ten to fifteen minutes for an adjustment. Recovery therapies like SoftWave, PEMF and red light add ten to twenty minutes each when they're part of your plan.
Pain and conditions
What can chiropractic care help with?
Most often: low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, herniated and bulging discs, hip pain, headaches and migraines, scoliosis, pinched nerves, shoulder, knee and foot pain, plantar fasciitis, and the discomforts of pregnancy. If your issue isn't on that list, ask. We'll tell you honestly whether we're the right place. Browse conditions
Will coming in once help?
You'll likely feel better after one visit. Lasting change takes a plan, because retraining how your body holds itself is a process, not an event. We'll show you what that plan looks like before you commit to anything.
What's the difference between chiropractic and physical therapy?
Both want you moving well. Physical therapy restores function through exercise and modalities. Chiropractic removes pressure on the nervous system so the body can heal and move the way it's built to. They complement each other, and our performance work borrows from both.
I have a disc problem. Is that something you treat?
Yes. Non-surgical spinal decompression is one of our core services, often combined with SoftWave and PEMF. Many people come to us hoping to avoid surgery, and many do.
What is a chiropractic adjustment, really?
The removal of pressure on the nervous system. Picture a kink in a garden hose. The adjustment takes out the kink so the signal between your brain and your body flows the way it should.
Is it safe?
Yes, in trained hands. Our doctors are licensed, examine before they adjust, and image when the exam calls for it. If something isn't appropriate for you, we'll say so and point you to who can help.
I was in a car accident. Can you help?
Yes, and soon. We hold same-week visits for accident cases, document everything properly, and build a plan to get you back to normal.
Performance and recovery
I'm not in pain. Should I still come?
That's the best time. Most of our athletes and lifters use CREW to find the weak link before it becomes an injury, and to recover faster between sessions. A movement assessment is the place to start.
What is SoftWave therapy?
Acoustic waves delivered deep into tissue to increase blood flow, break up scar tissue and switch on repair. Ten to fifteen minutes, mild pressure, no downtime. Most people feel a difference within the first couple of sessions, and plans usually run six to eight.
What is PEMF?
Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy. You lie on a mat while a low-frequency field helps calm inflammation and support healing at the cellular level. It's quiet, comfortable and often stacked with an adjustment.
What is red light therapy good for?
Tissue repair, skin, and sleep. It can be booked on its own or added to a visit.
Can I keep training while I'm under care?
Almost always. Our doctors train too. We'd rather adjust the plan than tell you to stop, and we'll tell you plainly if something needs to pause.
Do you help with nutrition, energy or gut health?
Yes. Dr. Jessie Prichard leads our functional health program: a whole-body look at nutrition, digestion, energy, sleep and recovery, with a plan built on your data. See how it works.
Do you work with teams and gyms?
Yes. Horsepower, Orangetheory, Burn Boot Camp and F45 members already train with us. Ask your coach, or ask us.
Kids and pregnancy
Do you adjust babies and kids?
Yes. Dr. Eric and Dr. Mallory are trained in pediatric care. Adjustments for infants use fingertip pressure, about what you'd use to test a ripe tomato. More on kids and infants.
Is chiropractic safe during pregnancy?
Yes, with a Webster-certified doctor, which Dr. Eric, Dr. Mallory and Dr. Jessie all are. Care focuses on pelvic balance and comfort through each trimester.
Can my whole family be seen together?
Yes. Many families book back-to-back visits. Tell us when you book and we'll line it up.
Cost and insurance
Will my insurance cover care?
It depends on your plan. Bring your card to the first visit and we'll check your specific coverage before anything begins, so there are no surprises.
What if I don't have insurance?
You're welcome here. We'll go over the cost of your plan in full at the report of findings, and payment plans are available.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes, for chiropractic care and most of our recovery therapies.
Practical
Where are you?
12220 Birmingham Hwy, Bldg 20, Milton, GA 30004.
Didn't you used to be on Northfall Lane?
Yes. We moved from Northfall Lane in Alpharetta to Birmingham Hwy in Milton. Same team, same phone number, same care.
What are your hours?
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Tuesday and Thursday 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The phone is answered seven days a week.
It's been years since I was in. Do I have to start over?
Not from scratch. Your file is still here. If it's been more than a few months we'll re-examine so the plan matches where you are now, and we'll skip the paperwork you've already done.
Can I pick my doctor?
Yes. Ask for anyone by name when you book. Otherwise you'll see the next available doctor, and they all work from the same plan.
